API / DataBridge
- A new version of DataBridge adds four columns: SECTION_SELECTOR, FIELD_INTERNAL_NAME, FIELD_SELECTOR, and FIELD_OBJECT. The SELECTOR column has been deprecated—users should use SECTION_INTERNAL_NAME instead. Former versions remain functional.
Note: BI tools and custom Snowflake workflows using the sections view should evaluate whether the new version’s expanded columns are needed. - Fix: DataBridge queries now return phone records for persons even when no label has been assigned to the phone number.
Vinesign
- Vinesign jobs now have a new “Prepare” step for selecting recipients and recipient information. This new step separates the complex single stage of recipients from all other message settings, which are still chosen in the “Preview & Send” final step.
LOIS
- The Attach button in the LOIS sidebar doc selector is now disabled when all selected documents have “pending embedding” status.
Fix: The Add Note modal no longer appears behind Ask LOIS.

Client Portal
- In the Reports section of the Client Portal Manager, users can now use Invite Insights to view individual invitation records across their organization in a filterable, sortable table.
- Firms can now send portal invitations to multiple contacts across multiple projects at once using Bulk Invites.
- The "Total Active Invites" report card in CPM Reports has been renamed to "Accepted Invites" to accurately reflect the metric shown.
Documents
- The share link zip download size has been increased, so users can now download zip files that are larger than 5 GB.
- Files deleted from custom sections now show in the Undelete tool.
- When sharing files with a guest, an icon now shows immediately in the doc list and a success message appears.
- When a folder with a duplicate name is created in the Move modal, that folder name will not have an appended number.
- For file types that cannot be previewed, the preview link in the feed is now hidden.
- Fix: colons displaying in the Bates Stamp modal will now display on the output file.
- Fix: the document property flyout’s Versions tab will now reflect updates appropriately.
- Fix: .ai and .rtf files can now be previewed in the document properties flyout.
- Fix: the Go Back option in MedChron Preview in Filevine now operates as expected.
LOIS
- Note sources now have citation text highlighting.
Depositions by Filevine
- A Delete option is now available for non-hosted depositions.
MedChron
- The new Bills tab in MedChron shows extracted bills and source documents.
- The new Missing Docs feature checks bills against records to help identify potentially missing records. Missing Docs only runs on new cases or new file uploads—it does not backfill existing cases.
- The dashboard rate limit is now set to 100.
- Fix: The dashboard timestamp now displays the user’s local time, rather than defaulting to UTC.
FVDA/Outlaw
- Pre-filtering in Configurations has been added to the collection selector. When a Configuration pre-filter returns multiple results, that filtering is applied in the collection selector popup's column filters, making it faster to find the data.
- When redaction is not available for a variable type, the redaction option is now hidden.
- Fix: Filter searches now return accurate results consistently throughout the application, especially in areas where filtering was previously "fuzzy."

Depositions by Filevine
- When creating clips or exporting video, users can now choose between Witness spotlight and Exhibit spotlight.
FVDA & Outlaw
- When the system disables a webhook due to repeated failures, Owners on the team now receive an email alert with instructions to re-enable it.
- Documents exported to .docx format now include activity logs and a Certificate of Completion page.
- Fix: Columns in variant tables no longer lose data or configuration when renamed or edited.
- Fix: Calculated columns and table totals now display as expected in tables with configurations.
- Fix: When inviting users to bundles via email, custom messages now include personal notes as expected.
Outlook Add-In
- Filevine’s Outlook Add-in has been refreshed with a sleeker, more modernized interface. All existing functionality is available in the new version, though the placement has changed for certain options.

Activity Feed
- After creating phone call items, users can now create and assign related tasks.
Documents
- Fix: Long filenames no longer overflow outside of the fax modal.
- Fix: Folder filtering now works as expected in the Documents page.
- Fix: Users will no longer experience interruptions when editing collection items while a DocGen is running.
FVDA & Outlaw
- Users can now create configurations for collection item fields, allowing multiple references to the same collection in a document.
- Fix: Columns containing nonbreaking characters no longer overflow into the right margin.
- Fix: Document borders now connect as expected on all sides when exporting to .docx format.
- Fix: The Set all instances option now consistently applies selections to all address fields.
LOIS
- Ask LOIS responses now include citations from the project calendar.
- When creating a note from a LOIS response, citations are now included in the note.
Med Chron
- Fix: Introduced an upper limit on simultaneous case initiations to maintain stable dashboard performance.
- Fix: Users can now download MedChron information to their Filevine projects as expected.

User Activity Log
- API logs can now be included in the User Activity Log. By default, the API logs are filtered out. Include the API logs by removing the filter.
Billing
- In the Timesheet, you can now view your personal time totals per day, week, and month in a calendar format.
Depositions by Filevine
- In Depositions by Filevine, LOIS now provides insights about your transcripts in an AI-assisted, conversational format. Learn more.
