Unsupported Browsers

In order to continue our security standards and ensure that new products can be seamlessly introduced, Filevine no longer supports Internet Explorer or older versions of other browsers.  

Internet Explorer

Filevine no longer supports the use of the Internet Explorer web browser. Filevine may continue to have general functionality within Internet Explorer. However, Filevine will no longer be testing new features and functions within Internet Explorer, and we will no longer guarantee functionality or security within Internet Explorer.

Over time, the continued use of the Internet Explorer browser may cause issues in layout, functionality, speed, and security. Therefore, it is recommended that our users who currently use Filevine within Internet Explorer switch to another browser to continue using Filevine to its full potential.

Unsupported Browser Versions

Filevine does not support browser versions over three years old. Using a browser version that is more than three years old may cause issues in layout, functionality, speed, and security. 

As of September 2025, the earliest supported versions of Chrome and Firefox are:

• Chrome 105
• Firefox 121.0

Any browser version older than these are not supported. These versions will also stop being supported by the end of the year. 

Recommended Browsers

Several modern web browsers have general functionality in Filevine, but Filevine officially supports the following:

• Google Chrome
• Safari (for Macs)
• Chromium Edge

with Google Chrome being the preferred web browser for using Filevine. 

If you are having browser-related issues, ensure that you are running the most up-to-date version of your browser.
