Section Permissions

Protected sections allow you to use Teams to manage users’ access to custom sections. Custom sections can be marked as “protected” in the Customs Editor, and users’ access to protected sections is then set at the team level, in the Team Management page.

DemandsAI Updates

DemandsAI can now automatically draft pieces of demand letters via an AI assistant, leveraging both Filevine and Outlaw.

LEX Betas

• Client Portal: Help your clients to easily communicate with you and view details and an overview of the steps of their case.
• Depo Copilot: Use copilot to analyze whether you’ve hit custom goals, identify inconsistencies, and suggest follow up questions for depositions.
• Expanded Vitals: add up to 100 vitals, with a customizable view based on user and device
• Reference Fields: use this field type to reference information in other sections
• Feed Updates: view the start of a new and improved project feed
• AI Data Mapping: map AI-generated data from documents to fields in a collection section
• Thumbnails: view documents in a “thumbnail” view in the project’s Docs section
• Protected Folders: mark folders as editable or hidden on a user-by-user basis
• Contacts Permissions: Org Admins can now grant users different levels of access for reading or editing contacts.
