Invoicing

• In the Invoice-Transaction Application report, transaction ID and invoice ID are now available to use as either columns or criteria
• Fix: Improved rendering of values for Invoicing Account and Project Funds Account in the project billing category of report

Payments by Filevine

• Users can now change their business name from within the new Settings section

SidebarAI

• When chatting with your case, SidebarAI can now once again answer help desk questions

Client Portal

• In the Client Portal Manager, the Org dropdown now only displays for tenants with more than one Org
• Fix: For tenants with more than one Org, the loading issue on the Reports page in Client Portal Manager has been resolved

Time and Billing

As Filevine shifts to support other transactions in addition to payments, billing reports have been updated to reflect this broader focus.

• The Payments report is now called the Transactions report
  • Column for transaction type added; included by default
  • Ability to filter by transaction type added
  • Column “Source” is renamed to “Method”
  • Column “Reference Number” is renamed to “Description”
  • Column “Payment Is Void” is renamed to “Transaction Is Void”
  • Column “Payment ID” is renamed to “Transaction ID”
• Payment Application Report now called the Invoice-Transaction Application report
  • Column for transaction type added; not included by default
  • Column “Payment reference number” is renamed to “Transaction description”
  • Column “Payment source” is renamed to “Payment method”
  • Payment Application Date to Transaction Application Date

Client Portal

• Firms can now upload their logo for use in CP emails

Activity

• Fix: reversed relevance sorting in the Address Book
• Fix: Report Builder Bulk Disable Advanced permissions were not "sticking"
• Fix: New Feed prompting for "Save Edits" when no edit made

Docs

• Fix: infinite spinner on the Documents page when no files had been previewed

Client Portal

• Users can now receive notifications via email or SMS when their projects receive portal messages
• Users can now track the status of outgoing portal messages in real time with delivery status chips. To learn more, read the Client Portal by Filevine article.
• The firm’s logo now displays on the portal login page

Lead Docket

• Documents can now be previewed in Lead Docket
• Fields can now be status-dependent
• Users can now integrate opportunities with Lexamica

Time and Billing

• Fix: Payment modal no longer incorrectly shows payments as unapplied
