This article discusses the permissions available at the Org level—also known as Org Access levels. Org Admins can assign these permissions in the Members subsection of the Member Access tool.
Overview
There are three available Org permission levels:
- Standard: users can access their assigned projects and other Org-level pages in Filevine like the Project Hub and Contacts page. They cannot access the Org’s mailroom.
- Mailroom: in addition to their assigned projects and other Org-level pages, these users can access the mailroom and manage inbound emails, text messages, and faxes.
- Org Admin: in addition to the previous levels of access, Org Admins add, edit, or remove users from the Org. Certain Advanced tools are restricted to Org Admins only.
Org Admin
Org Admins can:
- grant the Org Admin permission to other users.
- access the mailroom.
- manage Org members and teams using the Member Access tool.
- can grant and remove access to any Advanced tools they themselves have access to in the Advanced Access tab.
- run Fax List, User List, and Marketing List reports.
- access all data created in a cross-project Fusion report, regardless of project-by-project permissions.
Additionally, certain Advanced tools are restricted to Org Admins.
