This article provides a list of Filevine’s support and unsupported file types.
Filevine protects its users by rejecting file types that could carry computer viruses or execute malicious code. When a user attempts to upload these file types, they will see an error message indicating that the file type is unsupported in Filevine.
Supported Files
The following files can be previewed with Filevine. Preview support for audio and video files may vary, depending on the browser and the way the file was encoded.
Files can be viewed either in the Preview tab in the Docs section properties menu, or by selecting Preview from a document’s dropdown menu to open the full previewer.
