This article covers the Build section of the LOIS Console. LOIS’ Build section houses additional tools and instructions that you can “build” in for LOIS. It contains modular packages of instructions, like skills and saved prompts, as well as connectors and automated workflows that can be built by admins.

In LOIS Console’s sidebar, click Build to begin.
LOIS Build contains four sections: Skills, Plugins, Connectors, and Routines. The Routines section houses both Scheduled Prompts and, for account admins, Workflows.
| Skills |
Skills are saved sets of instructions that tell LOIS how to approach a specific task using your firm’s standards, preferred format, required checks, and tone. They are like a more robust form of a prompt that can be built once and then invoked, or used, over and over again. |
| Plugins | Plugins are Filevine-built packages of one or multiple skills that an Account Admin can install for your firm. The skills in an installed plugin can be invoked by all users. |
| Connectors |
A connector is like an integration for LOIS, which can expand its capabilities and context. An Account Admin can enable a connector, and once it’s enabled, each user can add the connector for themselves. LOIS currently has two connectors: |
| Routines: Scheduled Prompt (BETA) | Scheduled prompts are prompts that can be saved and scheduled. Any user can add up to ten of their own scheduled prompts. |
| Routines: Workflow | Workflows are automated, pre-defined workflows triggered by Filevine events (webhooks) or on a schedule. Workflows are available for Account Admins only. |
