Keyboard Shortcuts

Below are some useful keyboard shortcuts that can be to navigate, save, and interact with Filevine.

Ctrl + Enter	⌘ + Enter	create a note or task in the Activity feed
Ctrl + s	⌘ + s	save changes to custom fields in a section or collection item
Tab	Tab	jump to the next available item on page; used to move quickly between fields
Tab + shift	Tab + shift	jump to the previous item on page; used to move quickly between fields
Ctrl + u	⌘ + u	open upload window in Docs section
Ctrl + j	⌘ + j	open jump to folder window in Docs section
Ctrl + i	⌘ + i	open/close properties flyout in Docs section or Project Hub
right arrow key	right arrow key	open properties flyout in the Docs section or Project Hub
left arrow key	left arrow key	close properties flyout in the Docs section or Project Hub
Esc	Esc	if flyout is open, close flyout; if flyout closed, clear any document/project selection
Up/Down arrow keys	Up/Down arrow keys	navigate through documents in the Docs section or projects in the project search
Up/Down arrow keys + shift	Up/Down arrow keys + shift	navigate and add documents to multi-select selection in the Docs section
