The [me] criteria is a type of criteria you can add to reports to limit reporting output based on the user running the report. For example, you could run a report with the criteria “First Primary (*Primary) that is [Me].” Reports with [me] criteria will operate based on whatever user is running the report.
The [me] criteria is available for most reports types, with the exception of collection section list reports.
What Does [Me] Mean?
The [me] criteria runs the report on behalf of the logged-in user running the report. In contrast to the “First Primary (*Primary) User Name” type of criteria, criterion with [me] will “transfer” to whichever user is running the report.
If the report is shared with a second user, and the second user runs the report, the second user is considered [me] in the criteria.
If a user shares the report with a second user and the second user sets up an auto-send, when the second user receives the report, the report is run from the second user's perspective.
If the user schedules the report to export using Data Connector to S3 or Azure blob, the exported CSV is from the perspective of the user who set up the schedule. A second user who views the CSV in S3 or Azure blob will not see the data from their perspective because it is not the second user's scheduled report.
