Reports can be archived, which removes them from the reports lists, or deleted, which removes the report entirely.
Archive a Report
Archived reports no longer appear on the Saved Reports page for that user. Archiving a report will not deactivate automatic processes associated with that report, or remove it from the Shared Reports page for any other users.
Users can archive reports from the Saved Reports page, or from the Report Builder.
On the Saved Reports page, select the report from the left side menu, and then click the filing box icon. In the model, click Archive.
On the Report Builder, in the Select Report page, find the report in the My Reports list, and click on the filing box icon beside it. In the model, click Archive.
Archived reports can be viewed in the Select Report page. At the bottom of the My Reports list, click Show Archived Reports. To unarchive the report, click on the up arrow box icon.
Delete a Report
Users can permanently delete reports owned by them. Deleting reports lets you keep your list of reports clean and remove irrelevant reports.
Note: Deleting a report is permanent, and will remove access from all users and Orgs and deactivate any automated processes, like DocGens, associated with it—exercise caution.
For reports to be deleted:
- the report must first be archived
- the report must be deleted by the user who created the report
To delete a report, click the main menu and select the Report Builder. (The option to delete a report appears only in the Report Builder, and not on the Saved Reports page.) On the Select Report page of the report builder, click Show Archived Reports.
Archived reports created by you have a trashcan icon beside them. Click the trashcan icon.
In the modal, review the warning and ensure and then type “DELETE” in the text box, and click Delete.
