LOIS now lives inside Filevine. Instead of navigating to a separate site to use LOIS Console, get the full LOIS experience in a side panel right next to your project details.
The message icon that formerly housed both team chat and Ask LOIS is now used exclusively for team chat. The LOIS experience in Filevine can now be opened with the LOIS icon.
What Happened to My Ask LOIS Chats?
Any chats created with Ask LOIS in Filevine before this change are still housed in the message icon, with team chats. These chats can still be viewed, but you can no longer continue existing Ask LOIS chats or create a new LOIS chat from this window. You can continue to use this icon for team chats going forward.
LOIS in Filevine
Click the LOIS icon in the header to open the LOIS module in Filevine.
This module mimics the layout of the LOIS Console—the project selector, artifacts list, and other options and buttons all appear in the same place.
Tip
If your module is small, your left side menu may collapse. Click on the menu icon on the top left corner to open your chat history or see skills.
Resize or Move
Adjust the LOIS module to whatever size and placement you like.
To resize the chat module, hover along the edge of the window until you see an arrow icon, then click and drag to the desired size. The size can be adjusted horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
To move the module, hover on the six dots in the top left corner of the window and click and drag.
Chat with LOIS in Filevine
In general, LOIS in Filevine contains all the same capabilities available in LOIS Console. Learn more about chatting with LOIS.
Note
LOIS Workflows and the ability to chat with a document are only available in LOIS Console.
Chats persist between LOIS in Filevine and LOIS Console. If you begin a chat with LOIS in the Console, you can continue the conversation from LOIS in Filevine, and vice versa.
