The Calendar section in Depositions by Filevine provides an at-a-glance look at past and future proceedings. Users can customize their view, filter by certain criteria, and sync with their external calendar if desired.
In the lefthand side menu of Depositions by Filevine, click Calendar.
View
The Calendar section can be viewed in a month, week, day, or list view. Select the desired view in the upper right corner above the calendar.
Use the buttons in the top left to navigate between dates. The left and right arrow buttons will move between months, weeks, or days accordingly. Click Today to return to the date range of the current date.
Select a proceeding to preview its details, including the date and time, connection info, and the attendees. To jump to the proceeding’s folder, click Detail.
Filter
In the Filter proceedings panel on the right, you can filter your view to display proceedings based on the Scheduler, Attorney, Office, or Case. If you don’t see the panel, click the Filter proceedings button on the right.
Subscribe
You can set up a calendar sync to import the proceedings from Depositions by Filevine to your calendar of choice.
To begin, click Calendar sync in the top right corner of the Calendar section. In the Subscribe to Calendar modal, copy the Calendar URL.
Follow the linked steps below to subscribe from your preferred external calendar.
- Outlook (web version)
- Outlook (desktop version)
- Google Calendar
- Apple Calendar
If you have the desktop version of Outlook, and you don’t have any proceedings scheduled yet in Depositions by Filevine, you may see the following warning. Simply click Yes to continue.
Heads Up!
Subscribed calendars do not sync in real time. Instead, your external calendar will determine how often to sync updates from Depositions by Filevine. The average syncing cadence varies by calendar provider, and can take up to 24 hours.
Keep in mind that it may take time for your external calendar to reflect newly-created or updated events from Depositions by Filevine.
