As of June 2025, to protect system performance and ensure fair usage, we now enforce a default rate limit for direct API usage.
If you use our Certified Partner Integrations, you will not be impacted.
If you are building a custom integration or using the API directly, via the client secrets tab, you must request increased access. New customers that use the customer client Id and tenant secret in the client secret tab will experience 429 “Too Many Requests” responses.
Note
Customers who have accessed the API with the customer client Id during or before June 2025 will continue to have the same level of access to the API.
Request Increased Access
Account admins can request increased access to our API directly in the Account Manager.
In the Account Manager, click Access Tokens and then click the Client Secrets tab. On this page, you’ll see a pop-up guide inviting you to accept our API Terms and Conditions and request increased API capacity:
In the guide, click Next. The guide allows you to fill out a form regarding your intended use of the API. Fill out the questions, and submit.
After you submit the form, the request is reviewed internally and, if approved, your access will be upgraded. You will receive an email notifying you of the upgrade.
