Fusion Template Validation Errors

The begin comment must include a report ID.

This error will appear if the ##BEGIN_REPEAT note in Excel is missing the ReportID. A correct Begin Repeat note looks like this: ##BEGIN_REPEAT_NameOfReport_{{reportID}}.

Column “fieldName” [‘Report Name’!CellReference] not found in “Report Name {{reportID}}”

This error indicates that there is a field in the template that does not exist in the source report. You will need to remove the listed field or add that field to the source report to eliminate the error.

Range end field 'end:{{reportID}}' was encountered before its range start field. Please make sure that range fields come in start - end pairs and that range start field is contained in the document content before range end field.

This error indicates an issue with the syntax of the start MergeField. This could mean that either the start merge field is missing or that the ReportID is incorrect.

Range end field 'end:{{reportID}}' not found for a range start field 'start:{{1614}}'.

This message indicates that there is an error in the syntax of the end range. Either the end range is missing or the corresponding reportID is incorrect in the endrange.

Errors when pushing the Fusion Button

ReportFusion definition does not exist.

This error will appear if the associated fusion has been deleted.

There was a problem generating this document. It may have no data, your access may be limited, or the template may have errors.

This is a general error message that covers three scenarios:

1. Change to the reports in the template: This error will display if you remove or add a report to the fusion without updating its template. This error will also display if you remove an included column from one of the reports in the Fusion without updating the template.
2. One of the reports in the Fusion has over 30,000 results: If one of the reports in the ReportFusion has over 30,000 results then this error will display.
3. You don’t have access to one of the Reports in the Fusion:

Either a report from an Org you are not a member of is included in the fusion OR you are not an Org Admin and one of the fused reports is a Marketing List.
