The Filevine Referral Network is administered via Email ListServ. When joining, you will be added to the email list.
If you have a case that you want to refer out, just send an email to the list email address and it will notify all members. Others in the network can then either choose to reply directly to you or to reply to the entire group.
Of course, you have the ability to choose to whom you refer the case.
When you've decided to refer out a case, please use the following steps to ensure a smooth transition:
- Discuss the details of the case
- Establish and agree upon a referral fee
- Share the project in Filevine
Sharing Referrals in Filevine
When transferring over your referral, you have the option of sharing the project within Filevine.
Sharing information in Filevine is simple. Once a project is created and the basic information has been added, just navigate to the Team tab and invite the new team member as a Guest to the project.
You can choose which tabs your Guest can access by clicking on their profile and editing their share privileges.
If you want the user to have access to the entire project record, move them from Guest to Collaborator. If you also want them to receive notifications for new updates on the record, you can then move them to Follower within the team tab.
