Doc Zipping

Doc Zipping allows Docs+ users to download multiple documents and folders in a single zipped file. 

Zipping

To download files in a zipped file, first select the files and folders you would like to be included by using Contol + Click (Command + Click for Macs). All folders and files in the same level of the Docs folder structure can be included in a single zipped file. The zipped file must be 5 GB or lower, and any single file chosen to be zipped must be 2 GB or lower.

When you have selected all the files and folders you would like to include, click the download icon and select Download zip file. 

Unzipping

The downloaded and unzipped file keeps the same folder structure as in the Docs section. 

Progress Window

When you have selected Download zip file, a collapsible progress window appears at the bottom left of the Filevine screen.

The progress window displays any zipped downloads. Each download shows the number of files and folders in the download and contains a link to the project where it was downloaded. 

Downloads can be made from multiple projects at a time. The download process continues if you navigate into a different project. The download will be canceled only if you navigate out of Filevine or close the browser.

Multiple downloads will collect in the progress window. A download and its status will remain in the progress window for thirty minutes unless it is dismissed by clicking the X.
