Time tracking can be added directly to upcoming calendar events. Users can add time tracking details to the event, and add time tracking capabilities for team members added as attendees. Once the calendar event is completed, billing entries will be created for each assignee with time tracking.
Adding a Calendar Event
In the project calendar, create a new event and select Add time tracking details to open the new options.
Choose any billing codes and mark the entry as billable and chargeable.
Add attendees. Each attendee displays a clock icon in the top right corner of their card. Click on the clock icon to add time tracking for this user, or select Add/Remove Time Tracking for All to add it to all attendees.
When a calendar event ends, a billing entry will be made for each attendee with time tracking, using the rate for each attendee on the chosen rate schedule. The entry description will be the name of the calendar event, and the hours and date will match the length and time of the event. If there are no attendees with time tracking for the calendar event, a billing entry will not be added.
