Depo CoPilot Introduction

Depo CoPilot uses AI to transcribe and analyze depositions, giving you powerful insights and a strategic edge. Depo CoPilot delivers real-time transcription and analysis during the deposition itself, meaning you can adjust your questioning in the moment, address inconsistencies immediately, and make sure no critical detail is overlooked.

Account Admins can manage user access to Depo CoPilot in the User section of the Account Manager tool. Once an Account Admin gives you access, you can log in to Depo CoPilot at app.depocopilot.com/login with your Filevine username and password.

• Goal Tracking and Analysis
  • Set up custom or suggested goals prior to the deposition, and attach relevant documents.
  • Depo CoPilot cross-references your goals and documents with the live transcript.
  • Depo CoPilot pinpoints the exact moments in the transcript where your goal was either achieved or at risk.
• Real-Time Insights
  • Depo CoPilot identifies inconsistencies, unanswered questions, and potential follow-ups during the deposition.
  • These insights are directly linked to the transcript and case documents, providing context and supporting evidence.
• Live Keyword Search
  • Quickly search for key terms or phrases in the real-time transcript to stay agile and responsive during questioning.

Goal Tracking and Analysis

Goals are set before the recording is started, and can be entirely customized. Depo CoPilot provides a list of suggested goals, but you can also create your own. 

Once you start the recording, Depo CoPilot will assess whether the goals have been accomplished, and provide a suggested status along with references.

For example, you could create a goal to “get the deponent to give an opinion on the positioning of the patient.” As the meeting is recorded, every few minutes, Depo CoPilot analyzes whether this goal has been met and suggests a status for the goal: either at risk or accomplished. When Depo CoPilot finds them, it provides a list of references in the transcription that provide evidence for the goal either being accomplished or being at risk. You can review the references and confirm or deny the goal’s status. 

Real-Time Insights

As the meeting is recorded, Depo CoPilot keeps a list of each type of insight, with a summary of the reasoning and references to the transcription for your review.

Live Keyword Search

Depo CoPilot creates a transcript of the deposition, including timestamps and whether each utterance is a question, an answer, or a 3rd party statement. This transcript can be searched by any keyword, and is used to provide references for Depo CoPilot's analysis of goals and insights.
