This requires Org Admin access.
This article will cover how to change current staff members' access. To learn how to add a new staff member, first please see this article.
By default, when you add a new user to your Org, they cannot yet access any of your cases. This is done for security purposes. This means that you’ll likely be granting access more often than restricting it.
Navigating to the Org Members Section
To grant a user access, an Org admin can to go to the members section of their Orgs setup page. This is found by navigating to the Menu > going down to Setup > Finding the “Orgs” section on the left side bar > open the “Members section. Once you’ve found and clicked on their member card, you’ll see how to setup their access on Existing Cases, New Cases, and Org Admin permissions.
Existing Cases Permissions
1) In the existing cases tab, you’ll select what level of access they have on all existing cases. If they’ve already been added to cases but need their access adjusted, you’ll select the appropriate option in the dropdown menu.
2) After which, you’ll be able to set their notifications and admin access separately as needed. For example, if you would like to start receiving notifications for only the projects you are a project admin for, you can select from the dropdown “Where you are an Admin” and use the “Project Notifications Only” section, to “follow those projects”. We will skip the “Project Access only” section because we’re not making any changes to the level access. Just the notifications.
New Cases Permissions
1) For New cases, you’ll first need to toggle the auto-assignment function to the right (green).
Org Admin Permissions
In the Org Admin tab, you’ll be able to grant a user Org Admin access. This allows them to make any of the changes mentioned in this video to any member card in the Org.
Users without Org-Admin access can also be granted access to mailroom to view, send, and organize messages from the mailroom.
Removing a User
1) Click on the Menu > Setup > "Orgs" > Members to view all of the user cards for your staff members. Click on the user you wish to remove and click on the Org Admin tab. To remove the user completely from your Org, click on the link, "Remove (username) from all org and all projects."
