How to use the Projects Contacts Section
Fill out the Name and Role of the contact. To add more information, select the icon at the top right of the contact card.
You’ll see that you can identify the contact as an Individual or a Company. You also have the option to select the Contact Type for this person. When selecting a different contact type, you’ll notice certain fields become available. For example, selecting the contact type of “client” will allow you to fill out the date of birth, social security number, and identify whether you can text or remarket this client.
Have a certain contact that you’d like associated with multiple projects? To associate an existing contact to another project, first, find your project and navigate to the contacts section. Add a new contact and you type in the name and the field will allow you to select which contact to associate to the project.
To see the list of projects a contact is tied to, just click on the contact record and select Associated Projects. This allows you to easily navigate between all the projects that a contact might be involved in.
Q: Do I have to re-enter contact information into a new project
A: No, as you begin to type the name of the contact on a new project, you’ll see the field begin to auto-fill with a list of contacts that you’ve used before. Select the name and that same contact information will be filled in.
Q: How do I text my contacts from within the project?
A: This can be done from within the Activity page. Type out the text for your message then hit the bubble icon. It will display the list of contacts attached to the project. Select the contact you wish to text and the phone number, then hit Create to send.
