Writing a note (a vine) is the primary way we recommend for users to communicate with team members. Notes, along with tasks, deadlines, and emails, appear in the Activity of a case. Because notes can be added to with further notes, tasks, etc by multiple users, notes are also known as a Vine.
To write a note, first find the project using the search bar in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. This will bring you to the Activity of the project. From there, click on the textbox that says, “Write a Note,” and enter the text of the note. Select “Create” to post the note.
Once the note is created, you and other users can do any of the following:
Add additional comments.
Convert it into a task with a due date and reminders.
- Share with any guest currently in the project Team section.
- Copy the URL link to that specific Activity entry.
Move to or copy the item to another project.
Print a copy.
Pin the note to your Feed or to the project Activity, which requires Project Admin status.
- Remove the item from your Feed using "Got it".
