Link Projects

To begin using Depo CoPilot, you can add a new project and add upcoming depositions. The first page of Depo CoPilot lists all existing projects.

If you have existing depositions that aren’t part of a project, you can find them in a project called Uncategorized Depositions and move them to their respective projects if desired.

Add or Link a Project

On the main projects page in Depo CoPilot, click New Project. In the “New Project” window, choose whether to Create a new project or Link to an existing Filevine project.

Linking a project with Filevine helps keep your records organized and consistent. If you choose to create a new, unlinked project in Depo CoPilot, you can link the project with Filevine later if desired.

After you link a project, you have the option to change or remove the Filevine link if needed. Select the project in Depo CoPilot, then navigate to “Filevine Project” in the lefthand menu and click the pencil icon.

In the “Link to Filevine” window, you can either select another Filevine project and click Link Project, or click Remove Link to remove the project’s link with Filevine.

Manage Projects

On the main projects page, you can view and manage the existing projects in Depo CoPilot. The project list is sorted by last modified. Projects linked with Filevine have a Filevine logo.
